At the occasion of its 20th anniversary in 2015, the Archive and Research Centre for Women’s History launched a supporting network, the Friends of Carhif-AVG. Mrs. Miet Smet, Minister of State and co-founder of our centre, is the honorary president of this network.
Through the Friends of Carhif-AVG we want to involve our network more closely in the functioning of the archive center. Membership is open to all who is interested: the organisations and individuals who entrust us with their archives, activists and supporters of the women’s movement and equal opportunities, researchers in gender history and everyone who cares about the preservation of the heritage that we conserve.
Members are invited to an annual activity: a lecture, a guided tour in an exhibition, a film…
There are several options to join this network:
standard membership: € 25 per year for individuals / € 50 for organisations;
supporting membership: € 50 per year for individuals / € 75 for organisation;
honorary membership: from € 100 onwards.

Membership payments should be made to the account BE72 5230 8074 6616 of the Friends of the AVG-Carhif (Triodos, BIC TRIOBEBB). Please mention your name and the year of your membership.
